The Incredible World of LEGO
I remember growing up with basic LEGO; usually a few plastic buckets full of assorted colours of pretty much the same-shaped blocks, and the occasional base piece. As the oldies can remember, you could build countless things with these basic blocks, and the only limit was your imagination. I also remember being a little shocked with the first motorized LEGO sets came out. You could actually attack a little electric engine to a car made of LEGO! It seemed very strange at the time, but these were the days before even the LEGO figures appeared.
Well, those days of basic square blocks are long, long gone, and now LEGO comes in just about every size and shape you can imagine. You can also easily recreate all kinds of vehicles and scenes from popular movies and imaginary worlds. Those basic motors have evolved into remote controls and special software; there are LEGO boardgames, computer games—you can even design your own special LEGO creation and have it built!
Toys Paradise has a huge range of LEGO products, so let’s have a look at some of the incredible LEGO fun available!
Incredible underwater adventures await with the LEGO Atlantis range. The highlight is the amazing Portal of Atlantis, the entrance to the fabled lost city of Atlantis. But getting through it will be a mighty challenge— the divers must defeat hidden traps, shark guardian statues that come alive, squid and shark Warriors, and the portal Emperor before unlocking the gate with the five Atlantis treasure keys. This amazing set is the ultimate in Atlantis adventure.
Another great playset is the Gateway of the Squid. This ancient underwater temple has gates that automatically open at the turn of a treasure key; inside are traps, treasures and mighty guardians, including an octopus prison cage, a fearsome squid warrior, and a monstrous giant squid with flailing tentacles and massive snapping jaws. Can the divers reach the golden treasure chest at the heart of the temple, or will they be captured for daring to trespass in this deep-sea domain?
Check out the whole range of LEGO Atlantis sets. There are amazing underwater vehicles like the Neptune Carrier and the Typhoon Turbo Sub, and mighty guardians like the Monster Crab and the Guardian of the Deep. The race to discover Atlantis has begun!
LEGO isn’t just about building on your imagination—you can also build games and play them with your friends. Check out our range of LEGO Games. With the unique buildable LEGO Dice and changeable rules, LEGO Games is a great way of having fun together with family and friends.
Ramses Pyramid is a family game of memory, skill and cunning, where 2-4 players can compete against each other or take on the Mummy King together. Unlock the crystal coded layers to climb to the top of the pyramid and defeat the Mummy King, taking his crown and the treasures within. In Minotaurus, be the first to lead your heroes to the secret temple hidden deep inside a labyrinth, avoiding the Minotaur and cleverly placing walls to block your opponents.
Creationary is a clever spin on the Pictionary concept; you roll the LEGO dice to select one of four exciting building categories: vehicles, buildings, nature or things. With three levels of difficulty you can show off your building skills, while the others guess what you are creating. A great game for family and friends to test your imagination, creativity, building and guessing skills.
