With all day competitions, costume parades and interactive mascots there were lot’s of prizes won by children which added to the thrill. The Expo made it even more interesting for adults as they participated in tournaments of some of the most popular strategy board games, Chess challenge. They could also play board games for free with family, friends and other convention goers and score a game and take part in the Games Library Challenge and score prizes and trophies!

The Toys Paradise & Games Paradise retail stand had absolute bargains on their toys and games with toys priced from $5 and board games from $2. Can’t get better than that! Latest releases were also sold at competitive prices giving Expo lovers the opportunity grab their favourite new toys & games first before anyone else!

The Toy and Game Expo was created by Charles Bishop and Steve Rohan-Jones because of their intense desire to reinforce the values that they themselves had rediscovered through toys and games.

Charles Bishop, Co-Convenor, said, “We believe the world is a place to play in together and enjoy, and we love the tactile and social experiences that we have through toys and games with our families!” and fellow convenor, Steve Rohan-Jones, added, “We want Australians of all ages to rediscover the magic of board games and toys that the whole family can enjoy together. Over 150 of the latest European and American board games will be available for play in the Games Library, and we are also bringing back the classics.”

The Toy & Game Expo donated the proceeds from the sale of the raffle tickets to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead to raise funds for the Spinal Injury Support Program.
